
Amit Jain is Aberdeen's Research Director of Service Chain Management practices, and spearheads research of technology-driven business value in the service operations. Based on primary research initiatives, he provides thought leadership on how service executives are utilizing service lifecycle management, mobile resource management, fleet management, service workforce and parts optimization, machine-to-machine (M2M), and other technology solutions to automate and streamline post-sales service and support processes. Jain's current research efforts are focused on topics such as emergence of Chief Service Officer, strategic service management, mobile field service, location based service, fleet management, remote asset diagnostics and total cost management.
Prior to joining Aberdeen, Jain spent over twelve years providing strategic and tactical guidance to clients in the transportation, logistics, property and casualty insurance and healthcare industries. He managed engagements in areas such as supply chain management, logistics management, supplier evaluation, corporate planning and turnaround, product launch, sales force and customer service effectiveness, and e-commerce development.
