PowerHelp Projects

PowerHelp's Project Management Module encompasses Service Projects, Mini-Projects, and Workflows. Each entity can be managed cooperatively or independently depending on your business model. From a simple check off list of actions that need to take place to the most complex of projects that require multiple steps, multiple individuals, or even multiple departments/organizations they can be managed within PowerHelp.

Our Project Management Module includes a full suite of tools for designing and managing the various projects within your organization.

PowerHelp Advantages:

  • Built Into the Application - Since this functionality is built into the framework of the PowerHelp application you can associate multiple entities (i.e. customers, callers, products, contracts) within your organization to a project.
  • Ability to manage vertical and horizontal projects - This unique flexibility allows you to create a Service Project with multiple Mini-Projects underneath it with that have various individual tasks associated too them.
  • Dashboard view of associated projects and tasks - This view gives pulls everything together to give you a real time visual of exactly where are project is at and what percentage is completed or what tasks are still left to be completed. You can also drill into individual tasks to see their statuses.
  • Dynamic task assignment - This functionality allows too assign tasks to resources based on assignment rules that you configure within PowerHelp. This can be setup before the project is started or when launching new tasks from within a project.
  • Future task creation - This functionality allows too create a job that will automate the generation of future tasks on a date that you pre-select.

Project Features:

  • Service Projects - Service Projects are best used for Horizontal Projects where the same task must be repeated multiple times for different assets or people. Like Mini Projects, Service Projects are also Call Based; they create a Call for each Task.
  • Mini-Projects - Mini Projects are best used for Vertical Projects such as New Hire Setups, Hardware Procurement, and Software Implementation projects. Mini Projects are call (ticket) based, meaning that each task in the project will have its own call created as a linked child to the parent ticket.
  • Workflows - Workflows are best used for Vertical tasks added to a call. A Call is created and the Work Flow launched within the Call. The resulting Planned Tasks (Appointments) have expected durations and may be offset against each other.
  • Project Dashboard  - This view pulls the scope of the project into a clear and concise visual that allows management to understand exactly where a project is at any point.
